Early 1965 Chryslers had the data plate located on the firewall.
In January of 1965, Chrysler changed the location to the right front inner fender well.

Here the 'B25' goes with the 'SO' and decodes as November 25th, 1964.

Model year 1965 was the first to use coded build dates: "A" was used for October, "B" for November, and "C" for December, while 1,2,3....were used for January, February, March.......Why? I think because October is the first two digit month ["10"] and there may have not been enough room on the data tag to stamp two digits, so Chrysler used the alphabet for months 10, 11, and 12.

12198 = Shipping order number.

BDY = C42 = Chrysler 300 L two door hardtop

TRM = P4W = White vinyl interior.

PNT = TT1 = Spanish red.
