The instrument lights have never been very bright on this car. A new headlight switch
will often solve the problem. I have new switches in stock. I will give this a try and consider
an upgrade to LEDs if needed.

New headlight switches are available everywhere but some are mis-labeled. The 1962-64 version has a shorter body and although it will match the electrical connector and will install in the dash, the pull rod won't engage the shorter body. Here are pictures to illustrate.
