Golden Lion Grrrages

The 1963 300J is the lowest production Letter Car
with 400 coupes, 0 convertibles.
About 117 Js survive.

This car arrived in January of 2023. It was prepped for winter storage and will wait while other projects are completed. The car is missing some parts (carbs, window motors, ram linkage, remote brake booster). The engine is a 1973 400. Until we get deeper into it, we won't know which way this restoration is headed.

Painted in Oyster White, this is one of 159 built in that color. It has the heater (no AC), Golden Tone radio with rear speaker, tinted glass, and power pass front seat. The interesting thing about this car is the roof treatment. It appears to be similar to the Silver Edition 300K of 1964. We have never seen another J with it. It is possible a previous owner added it. When we get into the car we will look carefully for an answer.

The unusual roof treatment. Could it be from a 64? See below.
