1963-64 Chrysler Grille Trim Clips
1963 and 1964 Chryslers have an outer trim piece on their grille. This is held to the body with 9 special clips. To remove the trim, you pry the trim from the clips (*). Often the clips break. Forward Look Parts(John Grady) has new clips.
The clips are attached to the grille body by Phillips head screws. The clips have a required orientation -- the long tab
goes to the outside. You can put them on wrong, so check this orientation.
To install the grille trim piece, hook the outer edge to the long tab on the clip and roll and press the trim. You will hear
it click to the top of the clip.
(*) For trim removal, pry from the inner portion, rotating and rolling the trim off the clip.
